Question:
Good day, I am half Egyptian from my mother’s side half Greek from my dad’s side
As a holder of the Greek passport Iran has a visa on arrival for me so I basically just need to stamp an entry visa when I reach the airport in Iran
So my question is this as a half Egyptian non-Muslim what would Iranians reactions would be I am very excited to visit Iran and all the people and delve into the Persian culture and interact with people that I have heard a lot about
Answer:
No worries about the Iranians reaction toward the tourist as this country is famous to be home to the hospitable people. In Iran you will feel safe as well as being welcomed. Check travelers reviews about Iran.
And religion is the last thing people in Iran care about, they may ask about it but that is something only out of curiosity.
And the good point for you is that based on mutual agreement within the framework of international rules and regulations, citizens of some countries are exempt from applying for a visa to enter Iran. They include the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Georgia, Armenia, Venezuela, Egypt, Malaysia and China. Means that you even don’t need a VOA.
